Nate and the Spelling Bee

Today Nate participated in the Entz Elementary spelling bee. He was his classroom winner so he got to participate in the school bee in front of the 4th, 5th, and 6th graders. I was a little nervous for him because he only studied the night before with Sarah. Sarah told me later that he didn't get very many of his practice words correct. He didn't seem to be all that nervous (typical Nate) and got through to the 4th round before he got out and was in the top ten out of 24 kids including 4th, 5th and 6th graders. The word he missed was fiesta. I was pretty proud of my boy. He and his friend Tanner C. were the only ones to get out on that round so they were happy they got out at the same time.
