Oh My!

I sent out an e-mail to ladies that live nearby that I would be baking and selling rolls on Thanksgiving day. I sent the e-mail out 6 hours ago and already have 28 dozen ordered. I was telling my friend tonight that it would be no problem, I'd just have to time it out and wake up as early as 2am to get it done. She reminded me that I would be getting up at 4 the next morning for all the Black Friday shopping and then I will be working all day the rest of the day. So, if you see me on Friday and I am crying, please don't think I'm nuts, I tend to cry uncontrollably when I don't get enough sleep (ask anybody who went to the relief society retreat with me a few years ago). Good news is I will have some money to shop with on Friday!

I miss my kids

My week:

Monday: work then shopped for dresses with Sarah, Rebecca and Emily Beecher for the wedding. We found 3 at JC Penney's $10 a piece down from $70. Woo hoo! Saw the boys for about 5 minutes.

Tuesday: work, shopping, then to the temple for Amy's endowments. We all went to Spinato's afterward for yummy pizza. Saw my kids for about 5 minutes again today.

Wednesday: I will work then go to driving school from 5:30 to 10pm so I will see my kids for 1 1/2 hours tomorrow! Wow!

Thursday: I will work then got to Stake primary meeting at 7pm. Kids will get me for 2 1/2 hours! (Hey Lindsey: is this a good day for you to come over and cut our hair? I'll be home from 4-6:30) ***Update: Never mind Lindsey, I just found out Sarah is working that day. Dang!

I'm feeling like the worst mother in the world. Friday I hope to spend some time with the kids after work but knowing the kids, they will all have plans. What can I do to make it so they will want to spend time with me and not their friends? Is there any hope?

We are the Champions...AGAIN!!!

I have to quickly say that Nate's fall baseball team won the district championship on Wednesday night! I was going to wait to post a picture once it is e-mailed to me from my friend Camille (hint, hint, hint) but I just can't wait. Two championships in a row! The boys were so happy and I have to say that the parents might have been even more happy that they won than the boys were after we had to deal with the crazy lady who called us "*%$ ^%*$ MORMONS". Long story short, she was wrong, we and everyone else including the ump were right and she blamed the mormons for it. What??? We couldn't figure out how she even knew we were mormons until we realized we had a million kids running around us. Anyway, yeah to Nate and the rest of the team and thank you thank you thank you to Clint for being an awesome coach again!

Halloween 2008

Here are the halloween pics finally. Jake was a skeleton:

Nate was Elmo:
You can really see their personalities in the costumes that they chose. Jake wanted something safe that wouldn't bring any extra attention to him but that would also be cool. Nate was my hardest one to find a costume for because every year he wants to be the funny one in his class. We were at Walmart at 9pm the night before Halloween when we finally found this. I found a 2T Elmo costume that was very hard to get on and off of him. I don't know why, maybe because he's almost 11! He said it was okay because he would just have one of his friends help him get it on and off. Luckily we found a 3T/4T Elmo costume that fit him "just right"!

I remember the days when I would spend weeks coming up with the perfect costume and then days sewing costumes so that the kids would look adorable. What happened to me? Funny thing is, the kids don't seem to be any less happy with the costumes they got. Maybe there's a lesson there.

Amy's Bridal Shower

I had to post the pictures that Glenna took of Brent's sister, Amy's bridal shower. We had fun throwing a shower again since it's been awhile since there's been a Krummenacher shower. I didn't do much to help (I think everyone was being extra nice to me knowing how crazy things have been for me lately) but everything turned out fabulous. Brent's mom and sisters and sister-in-law are very talented at making everything look "just right".

Here is a picture of Amy and most of the nieces. My girls were so happy they could come! All the nieces even got to do a little fashion show with all of the bride's maid dresses Amy wore through the years. We all can't wait for the big day on November 21st!
P.S. I didn't get any halloween pictures this year but Glenna got the boys so I'll post that as soon as I ask for them from her. The girls went off with their friends right after school so I didn't even get to see them in the costumes they created! Sarah and her friends were fairies, and Rebecca and her friends were Thing 1, Thing 2, and Thing 3. I'll explain the boys costumes when I get pics.

Yep, I heard this the whole way home from Rebecca. I asked where she got it from and she said she and her two friends made it up. So that's what she's doing all those hours at Lauren or Taylor's homes.
