Sarah had quite a day at church today. I walked into the chapel a little later than my family did and noticed Sarah was up on the stand with Brent talking to the Bishopric and she was crying. Steve and Glenna told me that she just found out that her name was on the program to give a talk today. She was asked on Wednesday but totally forgot about it. I grabbed her and we walked to the Primary room because I knew we had a few books in there that she could use. My poor Sarah takes after her mom and cries uncontrollably when she is stressed out. I'm so sorry that I passed that on to you, Sarah! She got herself under control and after a lot of quiet prayers from her mom and I'm sure a lot from Sarah, she did great! I'm so proud of her for even getting up. I was approached by several members of the ward later about how impressed they were that she still got up there and did such a great job. I don't know how I got such wonderful children!

A big thank you goes to this cute girl. Caitlin, we love you so much! Caitlin followed us to the Primary room as soon as she saw Sarah in tears. She grabbed all of her notes on different gospel topics that she had taken over the years and helped Sarah gather her thoughts and calm down. We are so lucky to be able to call you a friend! Thank you for your wonderful example to my children!

On a different note, Brent sang in church today. I am so amazed by his beautiful voice every time I hear him. You'd think I'd be used to it by now. How lucky am I to be married to him and get to hear him sing all the time? He did fabulous today and made everyone cry. That's a sure sign he did well!

Good job Sarah. That is a great accomplishment. Now you're ready for a mission! :) I'm very proud of you Sarah Beara. Tell your boys to come to my house. We need some more cooks around here! Impressive.

Guess what I DID cry--I cried during Brent's song AND during Sarah's talk. They both really had the spirit with them. Brent has a beautiful voice, and I never get tired of hearing him sing!

And what an incredible young woman Sarah is. I was so impressed how she got up and gave her talk perfectly. It did not sound like a last minute talk. Only someone listening to the spirit could have done that. I also voiced a few prayers in her behalf because I could see her worry and wanted her to do her best. What a girl!
