Here are a few highlights I've missed from the last few months:
1. Krummenacher cousin's summer choir...

The aunts took turns during the summer having the kids practice at their homes and Glenna directed it. I actually never took a turn so I really appreciate everyone doing so much for my kids without me doing anything in return! Glenna was so wonderful to put this together. I know that every one of those cousins loved it. Even the older ones! I actually think the older kids enjoyed it the most!
2. Brent and I took a trip to California with our good friends Clint and Mary. We don't ever get away without the kids so it was a very welcome trip. We relaxed on the beach, road bikes, read, and basically just chilled. I loved it so much and am thinking I shouldn't do that very often because it took me awhile to actually like being at home after that trip. I just kept wishing I was sitting on the beach reading. Glenna and Steve took care of the kids and I can't thank them enough for doing that for us. They had their hands full because they took care of a few of Kelly and Cole's kids at the same time. No pictures of our trip but Glenna took some of the kids while we were gone.

Tying Jackson's baptism quilt
Singing a song they made up for Jackson's birthday
Enjoying some afterschool cinnamon toast
Popcorn and Redbox movie night
Glenna took the kids to the Humanitarian day with our ward
Playing the dollar store game
3. Sarah was asked to Homecoming by one of her really good friends Holden:
She had to dig through the ding dongs to find the name of who was asking her.
We just happened to be at Grandma and Grandpa K's house so she had lots of help looking for the name.
Steve was eating a ding dong that had already been searched and low and behold he found a letter in his mouth. We thought we were looking for a whole name but he put each letter wrapped tightly in a separate ding dong so they were really small and hard to find.
I guess somebody ate the "e".
4. I was given the chance to go to Tennessee to visit Kristen for one night a few weeks ago. Cole had an extra ticket and was so so so nice to let me have it. I can't tell him enough how thankful I am for him giving me that ticket. I really needed that time with my sister. No pictures but we really did have a nice time.
5. Lots more has gone on but mostly we are just doing our normal things, working tons, school, church callings, baseball, etc. Life is good but very busy. I will go in to the doctor on Wednesday to have a hysteroscopy and biopsy. I will know then how they will do my hysterectomy and when I will be having it so I'll have an update on that later. I'm both sad and happy about this surgery coming up. I was just going through all of our children's old books this week to give away the books we don't need anymore and got very sad that I'm done with that stage in my life. No question anymore about it. I am officially done. I had to go and read my teenagers some of my favorite children's books that I read to them when they were little. They thought I was off my rocker! I know they secretly liked it though. I might have to keep a few just so I can read to them and bug them every so often.

Oh Laura! So sad to hear about the surgery...hope it goes well. It sounds like you've been having a very fun, and busy, time! Miss seeing you!
I too had such a hard time readjusting to normal non-vacation life when we got back but I concluded that we need to do it MORE often--not less, you silly girl. Great pics of all the kids.
It was so fun to see that catch up. I loved it. I guess i need to get off my tushy and do the same.
