After hours and hours and hours of putting together the pictures to update the blog, I remember now why I stopped updating it so much. It's now 1:12am and I don't want to go to bed because I finally am so close! I've just put a bunch of pictures together from the last few months and I'll briefly explain what they are. I know I've forgotten a lot but I'm just happy to have remembered anything at all, to tell you the truth! So here we go...
February we went to California: We tried to surprise the kids and some were fooled. Others were not. I won't mention names (Sarah, and Nate). This first picture is of us after the kids realized where we were going. I have to say it was pretty funny to see the two unnamed kids who already knew where we were going (Sarah and Nate) try to pretend that they didn't have a clue. Too funny.
Our first day in Disneyland was cold and rainy they whole time so instead of going the second day, we decided to see the sights of California. We all loved that day because we had no schedule and could just do what ever we decided to do. We mainly went to Hollywood, Santee Alley, and the beach. Loved it!
We spent the third day in Disneyland again and had a blast. I forgot to mention that the first day we were there we got to hang with the Beechers. We had a great time with them. The picture below (bottom left) is of my kids showing us how boring the "It's a Small World" ride is. Whatever.
A few weeks after we got home, Nate got his braces on!
Jake's birthday was March 13th. I'm a horrible mom because he really wanted a friend party and I just never got around to doing it because all of our weekends were so crazy. Next year Jake, next year. Luckily we had cousins around because Kelly and Cole were out of town and Brent's parents who live 10 houses down from us were taking care of their kids.
We went to the dollar store for the dollar store game, to the park for lunch, bowling, then to Grandma's for cake. I can't believe my baby is 10 years old! UGH!
Steve and Glenna put together a shrimp boil for the family one Sunday. So much fun!
We had a few days (Easter and Mother's Day) when we sold cinnamon rolls to earn some money for camps. I had such a good response that I'm thinking about doing a Cinnamon Roll Saturday once a month. We'll see...
Jake had his fourth grade Famous Arizonans Wax Museum. Jake decided on Wyatt Earp. Jake enjoyed doing it. I just have to say as a mom, thank heavens this is my last wax museum!
Sarah went to prom with a friend from choir...
Nate got his appendix out...
Sarah made Regional Choir...
Because she made Regionals, she had the opportunity to try out for the All-State choir which she then made it into. We are so proud of her! The sad thing was that the day she had her concert in Flagstaff, I was in the hospital with Nate after he got his appendix out. Darn that appendix! I had to miss the concert! Luckily she still had great support. My mom and dad, Brent's dad, Brent, Rebecca, and Jake all were there to see her. I just hated hearing from everyone that it was the best choral concert they had ever been to. I did enjoy spending some quality time with my boy, Nate even though he had to go through pain to get it.
In extended family news, we got some new nieces in the Krummenacher family! ON THE SAME DAY! Kelly had her baby at around 4am by emergency c-section. Amy's water broke later in the day and she had her first baby at around 7pm. They even had them in the same hospital and were just a few rooms away from each other. They are both darling and doing well after a few bumps along the way.
That's all folks. It's now almost 2am and I am going to bed!

Loved it! Loved all the pictures! You really made them look great. And WOW Sarah's prom picture is just beautiful! Cool idea. :)
Thank you for updating. I REALLY appreciate all your hard work. Even though I talk to you all the time, I dont get the details. I love reading your blog so I still feel a part of things. Looks like a great time...minus the appendix thing. Love ya!
